The room was well furnished with an ironing set, satellite TV, and a seating area. Everyone was amicable and lovely. The hotel was in an exceptionally nice location really close to real local pubs in other adjoining villages and a restaurant.

We had a fantastic weekend stay at this place. The hosts were friendly and professional, making us feel truly spoiled. They provided a delicious room platter with homemade pickled vegetables and chutney. The endless supply of homemade cakes was a real treat. Breakfast was of the highest standard, using homegrown produce. The hotel's location was perfect, adjacent to a river and close to excellent local pubs in the surrounding district. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

What a really lovely stay, no complaints whatsoever. Clean hotel in a beautiful old building not far from Leintwardine, the garden, and the excellent local pubs. Wonderful old and unique venue in a nice setting to a restaurant or pub. Romantic, stocked room with extra refreshments laid on, a recently installed separate shower, for instance. Super breakfast with fresh eggs from the chickens outside for all tastes.

We were visiting Ludlow and the house was a bit far, but not critical as we enjoyed the drive. The building was secluded, but the ambience was awesome. The hosts were great, and the black friendly and cuddly pussy cat were a bonus as both of us like cats! The spaciousness and quirkiness of the property was delightful, and the hosts were very welcoming. The breakfast choices were varied with good locally sourced produce. Bed very comfortable and room peaceful. We also liked the addition of home baked muffins and Tyrells crisps in our room which were replenished. The fridge including bottled mineral water was a good addition with a good choice of teas, coffee and fresh milk.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The history and rustic charm of the hotel were definitely its best aspects. The ancient buildings and rural location added a unique atmosphere to the stay. The quietness of the country bed and breakfast was a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Additionally, the fresh eggs from the chickens and locally sourced produce provided a delightful and authentic dining experience.

The lack of shower facilities was a disappointment for those who prefer showers over baths. This inconvenience could be an issue for guests with mobility concerns or recent surgeries.

The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the room was gorgeous with a rustic atmosphere. The homely touches were beautiful, including the books and DVD's available to borrow. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent, and I loved that they used homegrown produce and eggs from their own chickens. The location was ideal for visiting local towns and attractions. I can't rate this place highly enough, I will definitely be returning in the future.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
